TALBOTS TO EXPAND PRESENCE AT BRADLEY FAIR
New Talbots Woman Concept Coming to Wichita

(WICHITA, KS) – The first national retailer to come to Bradley Fair has announced plans to expand its presence at the lifestyle center by combining the existing Talbots and Talbots Petites with the addition of Talbots Woman. Talbots (NYSE: TLB), which opened at Bradley Fair in 1991, will expand into 9,500-square-feet next to Banana Republic on the center’s north end.  The announcement was made by Cathy Erickson, vice president of Laham Development and Phil Tracey, senior public relations specialist with Talbots. The expansion will be completed in late summer 2006, 15 years since Talbots first opened at the center.
         
Talbots Woman offers sizes ranging from 12W – 24W as well Petite Woman sizes.  The Talbots Woman store in Bradley Fair will join the only Talbots in the Wichita area.  Currently, Talbots at Bradley Fair is located in a freestanding store with 4,200-square-feet.  Talbots Petites is located next to Bella Luna Café in 2,800-square-feet.  The store expansion will include the Talbots Woman concept – adjacent to Talbots and Talbots Petites.

Talbots, Talbots Petites and Talbots Woman offer a complete selection of classic casual wear, sportswear, career options, dresses and dressy separates in sizes designed to fit real women.  Founded in Hingham, Massachusetts in 1947, Talbots is a leading national specialty retailer, cataloger and e-tailer of classic apparel, shoes and accessories. At the end of fiscal year 2005, Talbots operated 1,083 stores throughout the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom, and its catalog operation circulated approximately 48 million catalogs worldwide.

A project of Laham Development, Bradley Fair lifestyle center opened in November 1990.  The 260,000-square-foot center includes 52 stores and restaurants. Among the focal points of the center is a scenic open-air Plaza that features a year-round fountain, two island waterfalls, a lake, extensive landscaping and tiered seating.  Throughout the summer Bradley Fair Plaza hosts complimentary Friday evening concerts showcasing a mix of national, regional, and local musical artists.  Soon to enter their seventh season, this year’s concerts begin Friday, June 9.  Bradley Fair’s annual Celebrate America event will be held on June 30.  As in year’s past, the Celebrate America concert will be followed by a spectacular aerial fireworks display over Bradley Fair Lake.

Laham Development’s other projects include Regency Lakes Shopping Center at 21st & Greenwich, Plazzio Retail and Entertainment Center at 13th & Greenwich, and Cornerstone development located north of 21st Street between 159th Street East and Andover Road.
